    Not sending e-mail and Hello

I just bought a KF for my wife and (since I'm the computer guy) I get to set it up. So far everything works OK, but it will not send e-mail to my computer (or anyone else, I assume). It receives e-mail I send her, but the messages from KF don't get to the computer (me). I got a hotmail address specifically for the KF. Any Ideas?

I have been using and teaching computers (PC) since 1986, so I can find my way around usually with the help of guys like you. Mostly I get a hint from the discussion rather than exact answers, but then my questions are often off the wall. Just when I figure out how to make ends meet, they move the ends.

I have this same issue; phoned the ISP as well as Amazon Customer Service. Both attempted to assist but after hours my Kindle Fire still would not send emails; receive just fine though and we changed all
the Incoming mail settings but still no luck. The work around?

I added my Yahoo.com email account to the Kindle Fire and also kept the ISP email account. So for now, all outgoing emails on the Fire are through Yahoo email and I receive emails from both accounts. Plus, I actually added and spelled out both email addresses on the auto signature near the bottom of outgoing email, right next to "Sent from my Kindle Fire" line. Just in case people don't recognize my Yahoo account because I didn't use it that much before now.
