    Post Kindle Fire Review

I got my Kindle Fire as an early Christmas gift. I have had a little bit of time to play around with it and while I think the device is great, I have discovered a few places where improvement would make it even better. I already had a Nook and I see so many areas where the Kindle Fire is superior. The Nook is just an e-reader, while the Kindle Fire is a combination of an e-reader and a tablet. One of my only problems with the Kindle Fire is that the screen can be hard to read outside. The only thing that I prefer on the Nook is the e-ink display. I have also found that I like the layout of the Kindle and the layout of the Amazon store.

Our household has an iPad 2, a KF, and a last generation Kindle. Trying to decide which I "like most" is simply impossible. Like the two vehicles in our garage, they're suited to different purposes.

P.S. Just decided to give the iPad some love so I cast my vote there. Have to admit, though, that since the KF came to the household, the iPad doesn't get the same attention it once did.

Welcome to the site. I like whichever device I am using at the moment. Often this has to do with which is charged or close to a power outlet at the time.

I have a KF and an Android phone. While I like and enjoy the KF (especially the gorgeous screen) I feel my phone is more capable and certainly more portable. Also, the phone has both wi-fi and 3G so that also gives it an edge.
