Hi everyone... I'm new to this kind of 'discussion' also, I have not decided on which e-reader/tablet to buy. Most likely will decide between Nook Tablet and KFire..Probably not going to sink $600 in an Ipad... any suggestions -DUH!?

The Fire is awesome. I saw a Nook Tablet at Best Buy. It looks odd and felt awkward in my hand.

I suggest taking a visit to Best Buy to try them both out.

Curious about a couple of things b4 I purchase either the Nook Tab or the KFire: Is it true that Amazon uses a browser which limits my privacy when I search the web for the purpose of getting me to buy apps from Amazon?

Thanks for responding... also curious to know more about tech support is it easy to access? do you miss not having a 'store' to go to if you can't resolve problems? comments are appreciated. 1958Apache

I researched tablets for months before getting My fire. The nook has more options but the fire is a much better tablet

Interesting.. my research so far has been just the opposite in terms of options-- when you remove the storage factor. Are you familar with the 'cloud' and is it easy to use???
