    Kindle Fire so far exceeding expectations

    Hello everyone! I have had my Kindle for a couple of days now and I must say it is even better than expected! I hope to learn from as well as share some knowledges with other members on this board to enhance the Kindle Fire experience.

    The first thing I noticed was how user friendly it is...like an Apple.

    The build quality is excellent and it is beautifully designed. The speed and the video quality is much better than I had expected.

    You should take a look at DVD Catalyst if you're into video. It's what I use my KF for the most and the software is excellent. He's a supporting vendor for this forum too!

    Love my Fire as well -
    just finished off the latest season of Doctor Who on it, and probably going to start watching Mad Men now.

    Gotta find a great way to rip my blu-rays so I can start watching them on the go.

    DVD Catalyst combined with MakeMKV can handle Blu-ray perfectly.

    Movies are my thing!

    My wife uses the Kindle Fire for games and books, I'm the movie guy!
