    Welcome to the forum.
I edited out your email address because spam bots sniff them out and spam the heck out of your inbox.
When you "purchase" a book (a book must be purchased even if it's purchased for $0) on your computer (Fire or reader) it will ask which device to send to. If you want to send it to the other, just repeat the send but change it to the other device.
    Hope that helps
When you get your Fire may I suggest you get an app called Free Kindle Books and Tips. It's free, well done and has different freebies and greatly discounted offerings each day.

You're gonna really like Whisper Sync I'll bet.
Also check out an app called Screen Dim. It allows you to separate the brightness from the backlight,a wonderful thing for using the Fire for reading. I keep my brightness up while actual backlight is down and it's MUCH easier on the eyes that way and saves quite a bit of battery as well.
