    Hello

I recently purchased a Kindle Fire, my first tablet. I love it! I am debating on whether to wait for the new one to come out or go ahead and get another 7" now because my 15 year old daughter constantly takes mine to school for her assigned reading! Just yesterday though I took it to the hospital to let my friend borrow it. She is pregnant with triplets and started going into labor at 21 weeks. They have her in a position where her bed is tilted head down, she cannot get up for ANY reason, having to use a bedpan Her husband brought their laptop for her to use but in this tilted position she find it is too difficult to use. So here is where a 7" easy to hold with one hand & navigate with the other has been a godsend for her. She hasn't put it down since I took it to her! Her husband wants to buy her one now but I told her there may be a 10" coming out soon & so they may want to wait. She doesn't think she could navigate the 10" as easily as she has been able the 7" with the head of her bed tilted down in such an extreme angle. So glad that she has found something she can enjoy!

Agreed. I though only 3" difference in screen size it makes a huge difference in holding, especially 1 handed. I've got a Galaxy Tab 10.1 and though it is thin and light as a feather the Fire is so much easier to hold with 1 hand yet has a large enough screen to be easily read
