Just got a great valentine gift from my wife. You guessed it, a kindle fire.
Just learning how to use it and one of the things I can't find an answer to is the transfer.
You need a USB cable that connects to your Kindle. Im not sure where the content goes since Im trying to figure it out myself. So far if I search for it I can find it
The audiobook MUST be in MP3 format WMA will not play. You need a USB to micro usher cable. Once you connect the KF to your PC make sure you slide your ti.ger to unlock it. The PC should recognize it and it will show up as a kindle fire. It looks like an aditional drive and you will see all the folders. I put mine in the music folder so just copy and paste the audiobook to that folder. Fairly straight forward.
I borrow all my audiobooks from a library using Overdrive just have to make sure they're MP3 format. I know you can convert from WMA to MP 3 but haven't found a free one yet.

I use Calibre to convert all of my ebook files if that helps anyone. I haven't tried to convert audio files yet but that is on my list
