    Storage Options? Need More Space

My hubs just recently got me the Kindle Fire (not HD) so that I can use it for school. I'm in nursing school and some of these textbooks are HUGE. I am worried I won't have enough storage space. since there isn't an option for an SD card or USB, what options to I have? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Welcome to the site. I would probably check the file size of each book before trying to load it onto the KF. Perhaps another device would be more appropriate. You should check into this before the return period is up in case you decide to change devices. You also should look at the web-based cloud services for your Kindle. Material is kept in the cloud and you move it on and off your Kindle as you use it using their "Whispersync". You can find out about this on the Amazon website. This may be your answer. Hope you get this worked out so you have a tab for school.

You could get a Kingston Wi-Drive. It is a wifi enabled external drive that works great with the KF. There is an app for it in the Amazon app store. You can connect to it like you would a wifi router, then have access to up to 128G of storage. I personally have the 16G model. It's fast enough that 3 devices can connect to it simultaneously and play 3 different videos from it without skipping a beat.
