Interfacing Kindle Fire To Hear Audio Books On Car System

Hi, I have a Toyota Highlander. I want to purchase kindle fire audio books and play them through my car system. I believe I can do that with an auxiliary cable but I have seen some info on line that indicates that the quality will not be good and there may be issues about keeping track of where you are in the book? I would like it to be similar to purchasing books on cd and them playing them in the car. If anyone can offer advice on how to do this and if it works well I would appreciate it. Thanks!

???? It's not that complicated to be honest, if the car has a cable in function, then any old cable plugged in to that and the head phone out on the fire, will just play the audio through the car. Just as it would if you plugged head phones in. It's always worth but good quality cables, but a few dollars is plenty, .The sound quality will most certainly be better than the fire speaker, unless there is something very wrong with the car audio

As for keeping tack, I don't see why that would be a problem, that's just down to the fire, if it keeps track normally, playing it through the car will not change that in anyway
