device administrator

nevermind,seen on a forum where it said kindle fire(amazon)doesnt allow 3rd party apps to have device administrator privileges


kindle fire hd 7",i have downloaded an app from the amazon app store but having a problem.the app needs device administrator privileges.on the kindle fire hd i go in security-device administrators and the app is listed and theres a box next to it but it wont let me put a check mark there to give the app the privileges?i have spoke to amazon customer support over the phone and the said they havent heard of this,so trying to find out if this is not an option on the kindle fire hd or does my kindle have a problem?thanks
