Kindle Fire & Malware. Manual in .PDF

    Hello.

    1. As the Kindle Fire will be able to use the Internet, will it necessary to install the usual plethora of security applications?

    2. Is the manual available in .PDF format yet, and if not why not? and/or when will it be available?

    Regards

    Welcome to the forum.
The need for anti virus type programs in Android based devices is up to the individual. There are some bonified cases of malware within a few apps but for the most part the system is safe without help. A quick search on Google can help narrow down the specific incidences.
The Amazon website has manuals in pdf format in the help section. The ones I've seen are about as helpful as an owners manual for a new cellphone. Take that for what it's worth.
