I don't know why there should be any trouble using wireless tether if thats what you mean, bluetooth tether would be nice to hear about though
I don't have a fire yet to test it with, thought I intend on getting one when the money comes through .... couldn't even test this at best buy though.. they have some live models on display but those things are so locked down. Sure does make it a pain to get a real experience. Can't even open the browser or settings.

@ yurdle: the Fire has no BT radio, so bluetooth tethering probably won't happen.

@Gamertherapy: even tho no microphone, if your android phone can be activated to be a mobile hot spot, then it would give the Fire the wifi access it needs for video streaming.

    On which device?

Several phone carriers have mobile hotspot plans. My sprint droid has it. You just add another wifi connection to the Fire.

@flybyjoy - i think what they meant was using a mobile phone to act as Wi-fi access point and connect your other device (such as Kindle fire) to it, to gain access to internet.

My Bionic phone allows me to make it a wifi hotspot but I was told by the person who sold me the phone that if I use this option a $20 charge will show up on my Verizon bill. I still need to look into this... It would be nice, though, to be able to connect my KF to the internet when wifi is not available
