    Problem With Charging

New member here. Hi all! I have an hd10, when charging overnight I plug in to charger and shut down the fire. In the morning charging has
stopped and power will be between 45 and 70% and fire is running. I have used every combination of lead and charger, wall socket usb, plug adapter etc. Could there be something running in the background that is causing this. I have been suspecting alexa.
    Thanks for any help. Pete

yes they reboot if you put them on charge, if you put them on charge and then turn them of, they tend to stay off, mostly.

but thats an aside they are designed to charge whilst on, they do take a considerable time to charge, from nearly empty to full, so i suppose its how long '' over night is.

but the issue seems to be that it stops charging, you cant trust the charge indicator, put a battery voltage app on it.

if its just stopping at a less than full voltage it could be lots of things, reset it to factory, see it the lead is loose in the port, buy a new lead, the port wears, the leads wear, a worn lead in a worn port wont work. chargers have over charge protection, which if you have a '' sticky battery'' knocks off to soon, try plugging it into a usb, which if its usb 2 will charge very slowly, but will chage to full

of course if its still in gaurentee, just send it back
