Is it o.k. to use Fire while it's charging?

Is it ok to use Fire while it's charging? I don't want to ruin the battery, I know it can be used while it's charging but won't use if it's bad for the battery.

Ii don't use it while charging ona regular basis, but using it occassionally while charging will not harm anything....

I've been using it while charging since purchased. Same with all of my Droids. Never seen an issue with battery life.

Shouldn't be any problem other than it will take longer to fully charge if you use it while charging.

If you use it while plugged in an showing full you may notice a sudden drop in the meter.
What it is is once full and plugged in it will not start another charge until the battery drops below a set level, usually 80-90% depending on device, as a safety measure for the battery. Though while plugged in it may be green on the charge light it might not be full if you are using it. It's totally harmless and a built in safety feature for lithium ion batteries and chargers.

Hi, I was wondering since you guys said that you are able to use your kindle fire while charging, is there a trick to it? I just got my fire a week ago, and the only way I am able to charge it is when it is off. If I turn it on, the orange light goes out and the battery stops showing that it is charging. Also my fire only came with the usb cable, so I use my adapter from my keyboard kindle to connect the usb cord to it. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
