Can I borrow two books per month ?

Right now, I have my Kindle and my Fire registered to the same account.
Amazon, I think foolishly, only allows one "borrow" of a book per month no matter how many kindles you own.

If I deregister my Fire and then register with a new Amazon account, can I borrow a book for each device?

Sound like the way to go.

It's based on Prime accounts not devices.
You get a free 30 day Prime membership when you buy a Fire, but only 1 per account ,and it's $79 for a years membership after that. If you have more than 1 Fire or other Kindle on the same Amazon account you get 1 Prime membership only.

Thanks.....that makes sense. I did not realize it was linked to Prime only.

My Prime has way more than paid for itself in videos watched and ifs almost to the point of paying for itself again in borrow books. Once I get my freebie in June it'll be over $80 saved in books as well as the over $300 in free videos I've already watched. I haven't made use of the second day shipping yet with purchases.

I've been a Prime member for almost 3 years now and love it. The addition on the lending library and streaming videos is just icing on the cake, but the two-day shipping is the best. I just hope they can sustain it.
