If you're rooted, it is in the market. Though personally, I am more excited about using skydrive which the other day gave me 25 gigs.
Considering kindle fire is stealing the tablet market, I am not sure google is going to make a kindle fire app. Here's hoping.
Microsoft doesn't seem to eager to make an android skydrive app but there are alternatives.
Well, I was able to see the contents of the google drive on my Kindle Fire, but can't edit the docs.
Here is what I did: Created a Google Drive account with my Windows PC. Opened the Fire browser, went to the Google Drive website, logged in with my gmail account and my google drive opened up.
Can only look at the spreadsheets and docs. A little bit useful but not much.
install the google services framework then you can install google drive from 1mobile. works just fine.
sent from my Kindle Fire using Tapatalk2
Craigevil is right. Works fine. Doing this you'll also be able to install and use other Google apps including Gmail, Google+, Reader, Youtube, Books, and Google Music. Google Play and Currents will not work using this method. You need to root in order to get them to work.
Where do I find this ?
"google services framework"
This is the version I used when I wasn't rooted Download GoogleServicesFramework.apk from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way
That worked with stock and let me install gmail, and drive etc.
