Facebook looks weird the last few days

I have had my Fire since Christmas with no issues. The last couple of days the facebook app appears to be an old verison. I have tried logging out and back in and this is not helping. I am not seeing current status updates or any timelines. I hope someone can help. TIA-Shannon Sparks

I have been having the same issues for the last few days. It's not a FB for android issue as it looks perfectly normal on my Droid Razr. I hope someone has an idea of how to fix this!

I fixed it!!! I fixed it!!! when you open the FB app on your fire, scroll down to the very bottom of the screen and there is a link for "settings". click that link, and look for the "photos" option under settings. There are three options for photos. make sure that the second option is checked. I was unable to go back to view exactly what the wording was, because once i allowed photos all was well. I believe it was something like don't allow, allow photos and maximum size or something. I checked allow, not the maximum size. exit out of the application and then open it back up and all should be back to normal. hope this helps!

Mine was indeed off, but neither Settings/General/Photos On or Max fixed the problem for me. My Fire is new and had never worked. I was on a previous OS and upgraded to 6.3, which didn't work either.

Here's how I fixed it:

From Kindle Fire Home page, click Web
Click the Bookmarks button at the bottom (the keyboard must be hidden)
Click Settings
The 4th from bottom setting is "Desktop or Mobile view"
Change that to "Desktop: Optimize for desktop view"

If you go to Facebook.com, it will look like the page you see from a PC browser. If you launch it from the Facebook "app", it will redirect the web to the mobile page. Now it should look how its supposed to look.
