I use my browser and Weather Underground mobile site because I haven't found any apps for the Fire worth a flip.

Not sure if this is in the KF store - but WeatherTap Zoom is a great weather app on my Ipad and Iphone - the ads are banner ads along the banner and not intrusive.

I've used two weather apps and really like the AccuWeather app (it's in the Amazon app store). It has a feature that will put a weather notification in your notification area (the number next to "Name's Kindle" in the top left corner). I just tap my notification and can see what the current temp is (if wi-fi is on of course). I didn't like the other weather app I'd used before (I think it was the weather channel app) but I quite like this one.

    Just my opinion.

I haven't tried other weather apps, but The Weather Channel works for me. I live in a golf course community outside of town. The weather in town can be totally different than here. The weather channel app offers golf course weather and maps and I can get accurate info for where I live, so it works for me.

I use The Weather Channel app and didn't even realize it had ads as I don't pay any attention to them, the same with all of the other free apps.
