magazine subscriptions
I've been trying to get info on magazine subscriptions for the Fire and there just isn't much out there. Presumably this is because up to this point, e-readers have not been an ideal platform for magazines.
I've seen what magazines are offered on the Kindle - not very many at this point but the list is growing, and a few of my subscriptions are available.
My main question is - can I transfer an existing print subscription to my Fire or do I have to wait for it to expire and then begin a new subscription on the device?
Also, what happens to back issues? I've read that once your subscription expires, all back issues disappear.

Not certain about your current subs. However, it looks like they have something set up with Conde Nast based on the launch videos I've seen. Of those mags, I LOVE wired but they have many.

There'll likely be a way to get Zineo running as well.

Free Conde Nast mags for 90 days.
Man, the news about the Fire and the content is now getting better hourly.

Nook Tablet may have better specs but Amazon is blowing BN away in content.

That would be great for those of us who already have Zinio subscriptions.

I don't know how other magazine work, but I like the way Family Fun handles their print & digi subscriptions. Subscribing to the print issues gives you access to the digi copies, and they usually arrive in my e-mail inbox before I get the "real thing" in my mailbox. You can view it on a computer plus they have iPhone & iPad apps. So I'm really hoping I'll be able to access the digi version from the K-Fire, too.
