    apps library

In one of the hands on demo videos they mention the cloud apps library and the device apps library.

Does this mean you can store apps in the cloud so that they don't take up any space on your "hard drive"?

I'm assuming it's just referring to the apps you own but haven't installed.

I thought I read somewhere that you can store apps in the cloud, but only ones you get from Amazon.
As you mentioned - a feature to save space on your drive

The Fire is an 8gb device with at best 6gb storage available. You'll need off-device storage for your content or once they get full every Fire owner will stop buying more content from Amazon. 2gb or more will be needed to buffer Prime movies streaming to the Fire. You won't need much space for ebooks, but music and audiobooks consume space quickly. Apps aren't usually very big, but will have trouble competing for space if there is no MicroSD storage on the Fire to offload them to.

The outcome? We'll see a 16gb Fire shortly. JMHO
