View & edit your mobile phone photos instantly on the Kindle Fire

Hi, I 'm enjoying my new Kindle fire, here is a tip I discovered to turn your spacious kindle fire screen into a viewer and editor for your mobile phone photos.... since that mobile phone is typically a tiny screen and pretty much only good for taking the photos, I found this method very helpful for syncing the photos almost instantly to my fire and viewing/editing them from there... (need to be connected to wifi of course).

Get dropbox and install it on both your phone and fire... I think dropbox is available on the onemobile app site.
if you have an android phone you can configure the camera application to create a folder in dropbox and automatically upload your photos as you take them either via wifi (it will queue them for upload if you're not connected) or manually with your data connection if you wish.

Once you're configured with dropbox on both devices, take some photos... check to see if they've uploaded to the dropbox folder (or upload them manually).
Open the folder in your fire... you'll find the photos in the designated folder where you can view them, edit them with a photo editor, save them to your kindle gallery or share them on your favorite sharing site.

You will need to be aware of your space limitation with dropbox, so this is not a good solution for permanent storage.

The kindle fire is an excellent photo viewer and can also be used like a digital photo frame as well.

Hope this tip was helpful for those of you who love photography and want to get some use out of your kindle fire for that.

I use Frostwire to send my photos to my Fire over wifi. No upload needed and it's fast.
I do use the upload feature to Dropbox as well. You can also use Box and get a bigger storage.

I've looked at the settings for my Droid3 camera app and can't find how to set the storage to anything but sd card or internal.
How do I specify a dropbox folder?

Oh. You mean Turn on Camera Upload!
Funny, I've used that but forgot all about it.
    Thanks
