Removing items en masse from carousel?

I am a new fire owner (yay!) but have had a kindle 3 for quite awhile. When I got my fire all my archived books appeared in my carousel. Is there any easy way to delete them as a group our am I stuck deleting them one by one?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Unfortunately, no. One-by-one is the method.

    I Wish!

I gotta believe they'll change this in a future release. It's a very clunky way to do things and I'm really surprised it's a one by one thing. Especially considering every book in my library wound up in the Carousel after the last update.

Since it costs 2.4 to produce a penny, my 2 worth is really 4.8 worth.

Haven't tried it but I suspect if you clear the data from the launcher app it will clear the carousel.

I tried that method. It cleared everything EXCEPT the carousel. It changed it back to factory default favorites and time zone.

Have you considered another launcher? Look up threads about Go Launcher if another home screen user interface seems of interst to you, eliminating the whole carousel and needing to clear it

Oops... Sorry, Mark. I have a recently purchased Droid Razr Maxx phone. About a week ago someone on a Droid board suggested clearing the data from the stock launcher to speed up the performance. I wasn't having any problems with performance but thought, "What the heck, I'll give it a try." The result was to completely wipe out my five carefully constructed home screens. Took me about an hour to reconfigure the launcher.

Guess this was just my way of paying it forward. Sorry again.

I have to laugh...I read your post on the other forum and did the same thing before reading the reply that said it would return it to default. I too am a new Razr Maxx owner. Remind me not to listen to you. (jk of course!)
