Unhappy Is My Problem HD Fire 3rd Gen A Legacy Deficit Functional Limit?

In news and major media apps almost all have non-functioning or unsupportable codecs for video media making them unusable if not just useless. Hard to say If this Kindle HD Gen3 is at fault or the industry as a whole is too polarized to actually serve the consumer without partisan and tech-war tactics. So why on CNN app only ads show images but article images are gone and video is hit or miss functionality, Huff Post no functioning video to name but a few. Do Samsung, Apple or Google devices work better than Amazon devices or is disfunctioning competitive licencing play the standards against each other and against users?

Well id suggest upgrading the operating system, its an OLD device tech has moved on considerably since then, all devices have built in obsolecance, as things develop and sooner ir later, they just wont load modern web sites. If that doesnt work you may have to bite the bullet, dig deep into your wallet and stump up 50$ for a new one
