You guys are missing a kindle section in this forum. Yes technically kindle is an e-reader however with the development of kindle apps is has become more of a tablet.
yeah, it got some basic apps such as calendar, calculator, note taking and a bunch of games. kind of nice, especially that I take my kindle everywhere (unlike ipad).
Hmmm... Is it not useless because of the fact that it does not have a touchscreen?
Although I tend to use my phone for calendar and note taking, there are people who use their kindle. Lack of touch screen doesn't make it useless.
I used many pdas before the advancement of touch screens and they were very useful. (Anyone remember the Psions? ...damn I'm old!)
Your both making me feel old.
Ok.... who's gonna mention their Commodore 64 first? (Actually, i never had one).
I do remember my first laptop (I still have it), a Toshiba T1000.. ah, the fun I could have with a low density floppy!
Have one (C64) still works.
No longer have my Trash 80 however.
I'm sure my TI-99/4A is still in the house somewhere. Don't see a point in digging it out though. Not sure I have a TV left I can plug it into. Know I don't want to. Those antiques served a purpose though. Learned to program on that TI. Had to, as I couldn't afford any of the program cartridges. Wrote very useful programs for the original IBM-PC that I was hired to find a use for. Thanks for the memories.![]()
