Has anyone received the new update that adds the option to turn on show mode yet? It was suppose to start rolling out on the 2nd. I haven't seen it yet.

There doesn't seem any rush, as I understand it, you need the changing dock for it to work and that not released for another two weeks,

Charging dock is not required, but perhaps they are waiting to release the update when they do come out. Who knows.

hit the up date button p and see if that does anything

I did, it said I had a system update. I hit update now and nothing has happened??

Mine are just now finishing the update to Fire OS 5.6.2.0 which will allow the Show option without the dock. Takes about 15 min to complete.
