    How long 'till we see Honeycomb or ICS on the Kindle Fire?

    Just like the title says, how long do you think?

    At this pricepoint and hardware specs, it would be hard fo devs to pass up don't you think?

    Well if you were referring to an official build Would say Never for BC but possibly 6 months for ICS.

    As for a Dev build, I say maybe 2 months at the out side.

    root & rom the kindle

    I really like the kindle. & i intend on buying one. But first it must be able to be rooted. My phone & tablet are both rooted & rom. The kindle is very nice the way it is. It will be great. Rooted

    rooting kindle

    I agree they ( android development ) are already talking ROOT & ROM. I think it will b a plus for amazon. I just hope. The price of the fire doesn't go up. I also would bet that some lucky developer is going to get one just to develop. & amazon will use this to there advantage

    Amazon is cleverly baiting all of us. They are practically daring us to root & rom these little puppies to develop a sort of cult following. Guess what? For $200.00 I'm IN!!

    Guess what your probably right. Not trying to change anyones mind. But! Go to android tablet forum. & there is information that there will be a.( Kindle fire 2)
    Coming out near the end of 2011 with. Much more to offer in terms of hardware. Food for thought
