There are lots of pay as you go options... but I happen to have unlimited internet on t mobile.. and all of my phones have tethered flawlessly... as well as all of my tablets.

I have a T-Mobile hot spot and I have not had any issues so far.
I love the 4G speed and it's easy to set up.

I'm using an AT&T MiFi for $35 a month for 5G's. Had a 3rd Gen Kindle with 3g & while this isn't as handy it does work well. I also use whatever unsecured wi-fi I can find.

I think the op is referring to mobile. I have the mobile hotspot feature turned on on my Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 2. It sends my 3g signal to my Fire.
It works pretty well, but not enough bandwidth to stream Amazon Video (although its enough to play videos on the youtube app).

Anyone out there using a 4g hktspot? Can you steam Amazon video?

I just tried again and now it loaded ok and started running fine! The first time i tried it it timed out. Like I said, I'm not much of a Tv/movie watcher, but its good to know I have that capability.
