I'm looking for a rubber case that will also protect my kindle from falls so far i have found 2 cases and wanted to get your thoughts on them.

What one do you think will do a better job at protecting or do you have any other suggestions?

I think your second option is probably the best for "falls", which are really DROPS..., and i only say that because the attention to the corners. The silicone build up in the corners like that are super protective. If a screen shatters it is usually due to it dropping on one of the four corners, so extra shock absorption in the corners is uber protective. But with that being said i have been using these Kindle Fire TPU style cases and after a few drops, (on carpet) my fire is still ripping and roaring!
